Post-Conference Workshop: “Intent to Heal: Where Science and Spirit Meet” with Marilyn Schlitz, PhD

There are many ways in which consciousness plays a role in individual and collective healing. One of the most intriguing, and potentially most relevant, is the role of conscious intention. We will look at intention as it relates to healing of self and in the broader context of healing relationships. We will consider the best evidence for areas such as guided imagery, hypnosis, contemplative, religious and spiritual practice, subtle energy medicine, and integral psychology. We will also consider recent developments in the area of relationship centred care, expectancy and placebo effects and the interdependent relationships of self, culture, society and nature.
